Terms of Service

Effective August 26, 2026 · Last updated August 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SiteWar.lol ("SiteWar", "we", "us", or "our"), including its public leaderboard, bidding functionality, website listings, and related services.

By using SiteWar, submitting a listing, starting a bid, or completing a payment, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Rules.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use SiteWar or make any payment through the service.

2. What SiteWar is

SiteWar is a public paid ranking platform. You can pay to place a website or public social profile on a leaderboard.

Your position is determined by the total amount successfully paid toward your listing, according to our Rules.

A payment does not guarantee traffic, clicks, customers, revenue, conversions, search-engine rankings, or any particular business outcome. Other listings can receive additional bids and move above yours.

SiteWar listings are paid placements and should not be interpreted as reviews, certifications, endorsements, or independent evaluations of the listed website or profile.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and making payments under applicable law.
  • If you submit a listing on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
  • You may not use SiteWar where doing so would violate applicable law or sanctions.

4. Listings and bidding

You may submit a publicly accessible website or public social profile that you own or are authorized to promote.

The minimum bid is $1. There is currently no maximum bid.

Every successfully completed bid contributes to the listing's total. A listing can receive multiple successful bids, and those amounts are added together for ranking purposes.

You do not need to beat the current #1 listing to participate. A bid below the current top total can still place your listing on the leaderboard at the position that its total earns.

If two listings have the same total, the listing whose latest payment reached that total earlier ranks higher.

For the complete ranking mechanics and listing requirements, please see our Rules.

5. Payments

Payments on SiteWar are processed by Dodo Payments.

A bid is only added to the leaderboard after successful payment confirmation. Starting checkout or abandoning checkout does not create a bid.

The amount and currency shown to you during checkout are the amounts applicable to that transaction. Any applicable taxes or fees are presented through the payment process.

You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and for ensuring that you are authorized to use the payment method.

6. Refunds and payment disputes

Unless required otherwise by applicable law, completed bids are digital purchases and are generally non-refundable.

Being moved down the leaderboard, receiving fewer clicks than expected, receiving no customers or revenue, or being dissatisfied with your position does not by itself entitle you to a refund.

If a payment is reversed, disputed, charged back, or otherwise invalidated, we may remove the associated bid or listing and may restrict future use of SiteWar.

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Your responsibilities

By submitting a listing or making a payment, you represent and warrant that you have the right to promote the submitted website or social profile and that your use of SiteWar complies with applicable laws and these Terms.

  • You will not impersonate another person, company, or brand.
  • You will not submit a website or profile that you are not authorized to promote.
  • You will not use SiteWar to promote malware, phishing, fraudulent schemes, or deceptive destinations.
  • You will not manipulate clicks, visitor counts, rankings, or other SiteWar metrics.

8. Prohibited listings and use

In addition to the restrictions in our Rules, you may not use SiteWar to promote or submit:

  • Pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult-platform content.
  • WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, Messenger, Signal, group invite, chat, or similar messaging links.
  • Malware, phishing, scams, fraudulent schemes, or deceptive destinations.
  • Content that unlawfully infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Illegal goods, services, or regulated offers that you are not legally authorized to provide.
  • Attempts to manipulate rankings, clicks, visitor counts, payments, or other SiteWar functionality.

9. Our right to remove listings

We may refuse, hide, edit, restrict, or remove a listing or bid if we believe it violates these Terms, our Rules, applicable law, or creates a security, legal, or reputational risk.

We may also act when a rights holder or relevant platform reports a listing or when we reasonably believe that the submitted information is inaccurate or misleading.

Where permitted by law, removal of a listing does not create an automatic right to a refund.

10. Website information and third-party content

To operate the leaderboard, SiteWar may automatically fetch and display publicly available information from submitted destinations, such as titles, descriptions, favicons, logos, hostnames, and public profile information.

This information is used to identify and display the destination being promoted. SiteWar does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks, logos, or other intellectual property belonging to their respective owners.

If you believe your intellectual property or other rights are being infringed by a listing, please contact us so we can review the issue.

11. No endorsement or guaranteed results

Appearing on the SiteWar leaderboard does not mean that SiteWar endorses, reviews, certifies, or recommends the listed website or profile.

We do not guarantee that a listing will receive any particular number of visitors, clicks, customers, revenue, followers, or other results.

Click counts, visitor counts, and other statistics are provided for informational purposes and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of future performance.

12. Availability and changes

SiteWar is provided on an ongoing basis, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of SiteWar at any time. We may also update these Terms or our Rules.

If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the date shown at the top of this page. Continued use of SiteWar after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SiteWar is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that the service will be secure, uninterrupted, accurate, or free from errors, or that information displayed about listings will always be complete or current.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of third-party websites and profiles linked from SiteWar.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SiteWar and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend and hold harmless SiteWar and its operator from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your listing, your destination website or profile, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to SiteWar's operator, except where mandatory consumer-protection or other applicable laws provide otherwise. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Rules, Privacy Policy, and the terms presented during checkout, form the agreement between you and SiteWar regarding use of the service.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
